Welcome to Butt Rub and Scrub, LLCF. These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our mobile application, website, and self-service dog wash facilities (collectively, the "Services"), operated by Butt Rub and Scrub, LLC ("we," "us," "our").

By creating an account, subscribing, or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to create an account. By registering, you confirm you meet this requirement.

2. Account Registration

  • Accounts are created using phone number verification (OTP). You are responsible for keeping your login credentials and phone number current and secure.

  • No anonymous or walk-in use is permitted — access to facilities is members-only.

  • You must provide accurate name, contact, and address information, and complete a pet profile for each dog you intend to bring, including breed, weight, height, and color, so we can match your pet to appropriate equipment.

3. Subscriptions & Billing

  • Subscriptions are billed monthly per user account and include a set number of wash entitlements/credits, as described in the plan you select.

  • Unused wash credits do not roll over unless otherwise stated.

  • Add-on washes and extra time increments are charged at the time of purchase and are non-refundable once used.

  • You authorize us (and our payment processor) to charge your selected payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.

  • You may cancel your subscription at any time through the app or by contacting us; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period unless otherwise required by law.

Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time by using the account settings page. Upon deletion, your profile and access to the Service will be terminated. Notwithstanding deletion, we may retain certain account information, including your name and contact details, as described in our Privacy Policy, for as long as necessary to comply with applicable law, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

Your Rights (U.S. Users)

Depending on where you live, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information, including information we retain after you delete your account. These rights may include the right to:

Know/Access — request a copy of the personal information we hold about you and how it's been used and shared. Delete — request deletion of your personal information, subject to certain exceptions (for example, information we are required to keep to comply with law, complete a transaction, or defend against legal claims).
Correct — request that we correct inaccurate personal information.
Non-discrimination — you will not receive discriminatory treatment for exercising any of these rights.

These rights are provided primarily under state privacy laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), and similar laws in states such as Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, and others as they take effect. The specific rights available to 
you depend on your state of residence.

How to exercise your rights: You (or, in some states, your authorized agent) may submit a request by emailing support@buttrubandscrub.com. We will verify your identity before fulfilling your request, which may require you to confirm information we already have on file. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law (generally 45 days, with a possible extension).

Exceptions: We may deny a deletion request, in whole or in part, where an exception applies — for example, where retention is necessary to comply with a legal obligation, detect security incidents, resolve disputes, or complete the transaction for which the information was collected.

Appeals: If we decline to act on your request, you may appeal our decision by contacting support@buttrubandscrub.com. If your appeal is denied, California, Colorado, and Connecticut residents may contact their state Attorney General to file a complaint.

4. Booking, Time Slots & Grace Period

  • Bookings are made through the app and are subject to available time slots.

  • Each booking includes an active wash window and a grace period (as displayed in the app) during which you may start your session.

  • If you do not start your wash within the grace period, the booking will be marked late and the machine cannot be activated for that session. Repeat late arrivals may result in deduction of a wash credit, at our discretion.

  • No-shows, cancellations, and rescheduling are subject to the policies displayed in the app at the time of booking.

5. Facility Access & Equipment Use

  • Facility and machine access is granted only to active, eligible members through the app (e.g., QR/app-based unlock). Sharing access credentials or allowing non-members to use the Services is prohibited.

  • You agree to use wash machines and facilities only as intended, for personal (non-commercial) pet washing, and in accordance with any posted instructions.

  • Liability Waiver: You use the facilities and equipment at your own risk. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Butt Rub and Scrub, LLC is not liable for injury to you or your pet, or damage to personal property, arising from use of the Services, except where caused by our gross negligence or willful misconduct.

  • Facilities may be monitored by video surveillance for safety and security purposes.

6. SMS / Text Messaging Terms

By providing your mobile phone number, you consent to receive a text message from [Butt Rub and Scrub, LLC] containing a one-time passcode (OTP) each time you log in to or sign up for your account. This is the only type of text message we send — we do not send marketing, promotional, appointment, billing, or loyalty messages via SMS.

  • Opt-in Consent: By entering your phone number, you consent to receive SMS messages from Butt Rub and Scrub for account verification and service notifications. Message frequency varies (up to 10/month). Msg & data rates may apply. Your number will not be shared with third parties for marketing purposes. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.

  • Message frequency: One message per login or sign-up attempt; frequency depends on how often you use the app.

  • Message and data rates may apply.

  • Because OTP messages are necessary to verify your identity and access your account, you cannot opt out of them and continue to log in via SMS verification. Reply HELP for assistance, or contact support@buttrubandscrub.com. If you wish to stop receiving these messages entirely, you may request account deletion (see our Delete My Account page).

  • Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

7. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the Services for commercial dog-washing or grooming operations

  • Circumvent booking, time-slot, or access-control systems

  • Share your account or access credentials with non-members

  • Misuse, damage, or tamper with facility equipment

  • Provide false information about yourself or your pet

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, at our discretion, with or without notice.

8. Failures, Outages & Compensation

In the event of a machine malfunction, internet/power/water outage, or similar service failure, we may issue credits, free washes, or rebooking options at our discretion. We are not liable for losses arising from such interruptions beyond the remedies we provide.

9. Disclaimers

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, [Butt Rub and Scrub, LLC] SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE PRECEDING THREE (3) MONTHS.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless [Butt Rub and Scrub, LLC], its officers, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your breach of these Terms or misuse of the Services.

12. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of [Virginia], without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts located in [US], unless otherwise required by applicable law.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
